I am in trouble, during windows 7(64 bit) installation, i previously formatted C: drive (which containted the windows file), but not the other other D:\ drive(which has all my important data), now i cannot detect the hard drive during installation, but BIOS can detect the drive and also the linux, i don't know what to do, i don't want to repartition my harddisk because one partition contains important data, i tried to find the answer on the net, but most answers were geeky and beyond understanding, please help me to detect my HDD(Seagate ST9640320AS), i already have drivers(i think) in the pen drive, but don't know how to make them visible during installation, as all of them are in .exe format and couldn't detected or executed during start up......also if i change disk fomate from AHCI to ADI in BIOS, will i loose all my data...???? will this trick work...???
