Use of System Recovery disc

Hi,

I need to replace the internal Hard Drive on my Dell Inspiron 15R (N5010) laptop - To get a working Windows 7 system on the new hard drive, do I just need to use the System Recovery disc that I made when I first got the laptop and nothing else? (I do not have an OS disc).
