I couldn't find a thread on this, so hope I'm not asking something that's been answered before.
My daughter was burning CDs and when she ejected one, the CD slipped out of the drive and stayed in the tower. The drawer will open fully and close about halfway. The CD is barely visible with a flashlight, so we tried for some time to retrieve it with various implements. Unfortunately, it has somehow gotten under the drawer--so even though we got the CD to the front, it wouldn't come out because it was blocked by some part of the drawer slide. I'm afraid the drive is a lost cause, but thought I would ask if anyone has suggestions before I give in. It's a Blu-Ray drive, if that has any bearing.
