Apologies, if this has been asked a hundred times. 
I just placed an order for a refurb Alienware m14x R2 with the above hard drive combo. Does this mean that the OS is on the 64gb msata? I'm not familiar with how caching works.
I'd like to have the hdd as a place to put all my programs and data files (video, pics, music) and use the msata for windows. Also, would it make a difference (speed wise) if I swapped the hdd to a higher 7200 or should I keep it as is?
