The Seagate 2 TB drive has failed on my computer. I have a usb recovery drive and an image of the failed HD. I installed a new WD Blue 1 TB drive and started the recovery. Windows 10 comes back and tells me the disk is not large enough. My image backup is only 197 GB so why does it come back and say the drive is not large enough. The new drive is on the same SATA port as the old drive and the only other disk the bios shows is a Samsung 32 GB SSD Raid drive on MSATA1. Any help would be very much appreciated because I'm at a loss as to what to do.
