I've been having this problem forever. I listen to a ton of audiobooks and sometimes I have to download them onto my Sansa mp3 player by using the audio CD's of the book, which takes a while but it's ok.
When the CD is automatically ejected when it's done, it remains on the screen. When I insert the next CD, nothing happens. Somehow I figured out that if wait about 5-10 seconds, eject the next (current) CD manually, and then put it back in, the screen will go blank and then the current CD (the one I just put in) will show up. I have to do this for every CD in the audiobook (often 10-12 CD's.) This has been this way in Win 7 and now in Win 10. I have the most up-to-date version of Win Media Player. I have a Dell Inspiron 3521 - have had it for a bunch of years, can't remember how many exactly, and it still works great (except for this glitch with the CD's.)
If anyone has any insight into this weird problem, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks!
