I have an Inspiron 7537 with a failed hard drive (error code 0142, validation 117249). I have purchased a SSD as a replacement. I do not have access to the Dell Hosted Recovery option because my system is out of warranty, and the laptop did not come with a recovery DVD (and it doesn't have a dvd drive). I've seen instructions for doing a manual restore, https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN127863 but it assumes I have the system files. How do I get access to the system files so I can reload windows on the laptop?
