Back in 2013 when I bought my Dell Inspiron 15R se 7520, it was pre-installed with Windows 8.0 OS. Using the Dell B & R software that time, I created the system image of Windows 8.0 in different parts in 3 DVDs.
Ever since then, I had then upgraded from Windows 8.0 to 8.1 and last year to 10.
To prevent data loss during system/hardware failure, I created the system image of Windows 10 into an external hard drive (WD Passport 1 TB).
But further reading suggested that I would also need to create a bootable system repair disc in case if Windows refuse to load. Therefore I wanted to format the Windows 8.0 system image discs I created in year 2013. However, the discs are write-protected and I can't format it.
Can anyone tell me how to format the discs which are write-protected by Dell B & R software?
Thank you.
