Dell's incompetence

Around the latter part of Nov. or the first part of Dec.  I bought a desk top from Dell, I paid $700.00 for it which was more than I wanted to spend for a so so computer with no monitor but I did it anyway. I received the computer and was ok with it but wanted to up grade to 16 Meg's of ram, an ssd back up hard drive and a better graffics card. I call Dell and asked for their recommendation on exactly what to buy so it would all fit and work together. They told me what to buy, sold it to me then shipped it to me. I spent weeks on the phone with tech support before they admitted that everything or Nothing that they sold me would work in my system so I got a confirmation tag to send all but the ssd which I figured I would keep and try to make work somewhere else. In the mean time I had paid $500.00 toward the original purchase which would leave $200.00 and the ram plus graffics card were together another $500.00 and the ssd hard drive was 80 but around 70 of it was paid from points from the purchase of the computer. I sent the two parts back and a month later I got a bill for $700.00 . The entire bill should be $200.00 but by now I'm thinking that Dell has got to be the most inept incompetent , miss managed company that I've ever had the displeasure to do business with. I will now start another round of weeks of phones and waste many hrs on the phone talking to people that can't speak English but I will fight them this time to the end. They have done nothing right so far except my original order, I should have stopped there. Needless to say I'm through giving Dell any money, Ever! Does anyone have any advice?
