I've got a H710 Controller installed in a T320 (latest firmware via Lifecycle controller). The first two drives were originally Dell SATA drives and the following 6 drives were WD Non-Dell. 2 VD's Boot and Data. I noticed after I set it all up that the first two drives (which have 2 LED's on the caddy) were displaying differently than the other 6. The first 2 drives would have the right LED on and the left LED off but blinking during activity. The remaining 6 drives would have both LED's on and the left LED blinking during activity. I assumed it had to do with the first 2 drives being Dell and the other 6 not. Today I changed the first 2 drives to Intel SSD's and was expecting to see both lights on but it's still the right side light on and the left blinking for activity. Can anyone explain why they are different on the 1st Virtual disk and the 2nd? Everything works, but I'm curious as to why they would be different.
