Hi,
I have a Dell M3800 laptop with a 128GB SSD. chkdsk reports there is 700KB of bad sectors.
We've attempted to "repair" these using chkdsk /f a couple of times which I think makes the SSD/OS aware of the bad sectors and avoids using them.
My questions are:
* How common is having bad sectors on SSDs?
* Is having a small amount of bad sectors acceptable? I think the total number I've had has always been around 700KB (i.e. it doesn't appear to be growing)
Thanks
