XPS 13 Haswell 256 to 1TB SSD upgrade

I Purchased a 1TB Samsung 840 EVO to uprgrade my XPS 13 256 SSD, as I was runnning out of space.

The laptop has previoiusly been completely backed up including bootable rescue USB

I have the new 1TB SSD in an external USB enclosure

I would like to clone the existing drive

I am using Samsung's data migration SW (but will use better SW if recommended)

Question: Since the Dell recovery partitions are encrypted and tatooed to the original HD can I just copy overy the O.S. (C) partition and the EFI partion and my computer will boot ok?  I also am not interested in keeping the OEM partitions, as I don't use the Intel rapid start technology.

In Summary

O.S. << Clone

EFI << Clone

Recovery << Do not clone

OEM (with intel rapid start) << Do not clone
