Samsung PM810 SSD firmware upgrade?

Hi,

I have a 256GB Samsung PM810 (I think it is the retail version of the Samsung 470) and it seems to be causing Windows BSODs (error 0x000000F4) every now and then on my Precision T1600. I tried with another SSD of the same brand/model/capacity and the same thing happens. I had a non-SSD disk on the same machine for years and all was good, never saw a BSOD, but since I installed the SSD I get BSODs very often, so I know it is the SSD.

Both currently have firmware version AXM08D1Q.

By looking at the Samsung website, I see there is a newer version available (AXM09B1Q) but I can't find a way to us it to update my disks.

I can't find the firmware update on the Dell website either (I see an update for PM800, but it does not work on my PM810, as expected).

I tried both IDE and AHCI modes on the BIOS, but the same thing happens on any of them.

Samsung Magician won't "see" the disks either.

The SSD is the only disk on the machine.

Can someone please throw some light on this?

Thanks,
