Hi, i installed a new Mushkin SSD in my XPS13 running 64 bit Windows 7. When I try to re install the operating system I get stuck after a "A required CD/DVD device driver is missing " message comes up. This error screen gives me the option to install the driver by inserting a disk or flash drive or browsing to the driver location. The problem is that no matter what form of device I plug into the USB ports, none are recognized making it impossible to proceed. I have tried changing the options in setup, but none has allowed this laptop to see anything other that what is loaded in the BIOS. It is strange that it does read the operating system disk from flash and external DVD. I have several copies of W/7 and they all do the same thing.
If anyone has any knowledge on this topic I would sure appreciate help.
