I had to replace the memory in my Dell Dimension E310. I replace it with 2 1GB memory from a Dell XPS 210 system I had lying around. I finally got the memory in and my computer works but I have another problem I need help with
The problem I have is when I boot up my Dell Dimension E310, it goes threw the Dell logo screen but at the tail end of the loading bar, it freezes for a few seconds then I get this loud beep then it goes to a screen and it says;
Seek Floppy Diskette Failed
Hit F1 To Continue or Hit F2 To Go Setup Menu
I won't this to stop if possible. I don't want to have to go threw this process every time I turn on my computer and it boots up
My question, can I stop this and if so, how? All of my cables are connect correctly. I had to replace the memory because the computer wouldn't load up and got the 3 4 on the diagnostic light say I had memory failed
I don't have a floppy drive on the Dell Dimension E310. Is there someway possible I can stop this and have my computer boot up correctly every time I turn my computer on. I had to replace the memory with memory from another computer because I don't have money right now to be honest to go out and buy brand new memory
Do I have this issue because I took memory out of entire different computer then my Dell Dimension E310
Can I bypass the seek floppy disk option without hurting my computer
Somebody please help me out
