When I start the computer the screen shows stage 3 update not complete, do not shut down the computer. It never gets pass zero. This occurs after the windows logo appears on the screen. The computer then shuts down automatically and restarts with the same result each time. I have tried to fix from the install disk. On setup repair, screen notes setup repair cannot fix the problem. System recovery shows there is no restore point. Can't see why it says that. The memory diagnosis indicates no problems. Hate the thought of losing everything and installing from scratch. Would appreciate any help to solve.
If not repairable, is there a way to get to the hart drive to see what is on it?
