Loading firmware update in Matshita UJ 232A

Hi,

How can I revert the firmware of a Matshita BD-RE UJ 232A (installed in a Dell M4400) that was inadvertently converted to DVD RW BD UJ232AB subsequent to improper firmware update from Dell?

The correct firmware update should have been: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R228028

But in fact the following update was executed (resulting in the conversion of the UJ 232A into UJ 232AB): http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R224265

And since the drive is now identified as an UJ 232AB, there is now way to load the correct Dell firmware update (R228028).

My understanding is that the AB version does not burn Blue Ray.
