Computer: Dell Inspiron 17R N7110
DVD/CD drive: HL DT ST DVD +- RW GT50N
I was using my DVD/CD drive somewhat regularly with no problems, all of a sudden it is no longer recognizing discs. I've confirmed I have the updated driver, and firmware. Ran diagnostics that said yup, it is broken, but the link provided to Microsoft did nothing to fix the drive. Is there anything else to try, or is the drive dead?
