Original Dell (Seagate) drive is dying, according to Seatools. Can't get Seatools for DOS to boot so cannot do follow-up suggested by Seatools.
Does the OS drive ALWAYS have to be in the first slot?
Or can I leave the dying drive in the first slot and put the new one in the 2nd slot?
I've backed up the the dying drive to an external USB drive, and done the multi-hour checkdisk.
New drive (WD) has Acronis, so hopefully I can just clone the old drive to the new one. But I could always use sage advice on that part as well.
