Trouble installing WIN 7 64bit on an Vostro V131 with SSD

Hello everybody,

I just recieved my new Vostro V 131 with i5 2430M, 4gb RAM, HD3000 graphic and standart 500gb HDD!

I already had a new OCZ Agility 3 120gb SSD and wanted to change this one against the built in HDD.

I put a bootable Win 7 64bit with SP1 on a USB Stick and started the system. I'am able to choose my language setting and then hit the "Start installation" button. And here comes the mess: Setup starts, and then tells me I need aditional drivers for the installation. I can't choose anything else but a drive where these drivers are found. So I downloaded the SATA (AHCI) drivers for my controller at DELL support. They are recodnized by the system as drivers and checked, but I just get back to the window wich says add. drivers are necessary. The SSD is recognized in BIOS and SATA mode is set to AHCI. I was able format and part it with the Win included Recovery/Partition tools.

OK, I checked for allmost everything else, which could cause such problems. SSD firmeware is up to date, BIOS updated (as mentioned, SSD is shown correctly). I put the SSD on an external HDD casing and it was shown in Windows as a normal USB storage.

Whatever I checked was correct, the SSD is recogniced and shown correct, instead of the Win7 installation menu.

I'm at the end of my ideas and hope one of you can help me out!

Thanks so far.....

Flo
